The Locals
This bench and stool set is all about the wood, its properties, and its beauty. It is primarily crafted with hand tools and minimal machine intervention, emphasizing the joinery both as a craft and a metaphor for the importance of unity and building local communities. Hence, all the wood is locally sourced around Den Bosch and kindly given to me by Stadshout Den Bosch. The top is made of plain wood, and the legs are made of acacia, joined together without the use of glue, nails, or screws, but only through tension.

Shy Stool
This four-legged stool literally has four legs, representative of a squatting and a shy stance, designed to give the stool three different looks depending on its position.
