Hand in HandIn collaboration with TextielLab at the TextielMuseum in Tilburg
"Hand in Hand" is an interactive installation that allows you to experience a traditional Bulgarian dance called horo. Kalina sees this dance as a particularly transformative part of her cultural heritage, embodying but also questioning the feeling of belonging in the context of culture and outside of it. The multi-sensory installation explores colour, music and dance as forces of connection through a personal and universal pursuit of embodied understanding. She believes that participating and reflecting on the dance of horo can be influential in how we move through life and even how we structure communities – more positive, more open and more united, moving in rhythm and making space for one another.
