The LocalsA bench and a stool set that is all about the wood, its properties, and its beauty. It is primarily crafted with hand tools and minimal machine intervention, emphasising the joinery both as a craft and a metaphor for the importance of unity and building local communities. Hence, all the wood is locally sourced around Den Bosch and kindly given to Kalina by Stadshout Den Bosch. The top is made of plane wood, and the legs are made of acacia, joined together only through tension.
